Relationship Between Attitude And Motivation Of Students In Mathematical Physics

Abstract


Attitude is one aspect that needs to be considered both for learning activities or learning objects. This study aims to determine the attitudes and motivations of students in mathematics physics subjects. The sample used was 100 students who had studied the Mathematics Physics course. Quantitative research methods with a correlational research design. In research using the sampling technique used is purposive sampling. The research instruments used were attitude questionnaires in mathematical physics and motivational questionnaires. The results show that each indicator has different results. Indicators of interest multiplying when studying Mathematical Physics are included in the fairly good category with a percentage of 61.0%, indicators The social implications of physics are included in the good category with a percentage of 48.0%, while the indicators of Normality of theoretical physicists included in the category are quite good with a percentage of 62.0%, and results Student motivation is in good category at 47.0%. And there is a significant relationship between attitudes and motivation of students in mathematics physics learning at 0.697.
